Constant Disconnects

Line stats
Hello. Lately I have been experiencing disconnects. It happens at least twice daily constantly for the past month and I just do not know what is happening.

Here are my line stats:
Should I also post the event log?

By disconnects you mean where the modem loses sync? (ie the online light goes off?).

Yes, lately it has been the online light. Before it was just the upstream light and I just figured rogers was in the area doing some work because I just recently got 4 bonded upstream channels.

If a factory reset doesn't help (and eliminate any splitters if possible) then give our support team a call and we can trouble shoot with you. Thanks.

I did a factory reset and it still continues. It's almost always the US light, I've only ever caught the online light flashing once. But I don't think it should be flashing because I got channel bonding at least 3 months ago and ever since my channel bonding was enabled the US light continues to flash daily. And whenever the US light is flashing I have no internet connection.

I also already have no splitters in the line.

Mine looks almost identical to yours. No lost internet as far as I can tell however.

It has to be due to the weather. Cable is silly like that but I could be wrong!

Your power for the return path is right on the edge of the allowed levels.

Forward Path
-10dBmV to +10dBmV

Return Path
+32dBmV to +52dBmV

Hummm...I have only one channel in my return path. Oh, and only four channels down. So I guess its not the same as his.

Forward Path:
Channel Frequency Power SNR BER Modulation
1 513.0 MHz -0.7 dBmV 37.1 dB 0.000 % 256 QAM
2 531.0 MHz -0.5 dBmV 36.8 dB 0.000 % 256 QAM
3 537.0 MHz -0.1 dBmV 36.8 dB 0.000 % 256 QAM
4 543.0 MHz 0.6 dBmV 36.8 dB 0.000 % 256 QAM
5 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB 0.0 % None
6 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB 0.0 % None
7 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB 0.0 % None
8 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV 0.0 dB 0.0 % None

Return Path:
Channel ID Frequency Power Modulation
4 22.0 MHz 42.5 dBmV 16 QAM
0 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV QPSK
0 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV QPSK
0 0.0 MHz 0.0 dBmV QPSK

Okay, no one has commented...not an issue? Why the difference? His uses five down and four up? Inquiring minds want to know.

-10 to +10 is ideal, but he shouldn't be losing sync until those values are outside of -15 to +15, though. His SNR would indicate that the +9 value isn't too much of a problem.

It's because your area hasn't been update with upstream channel bonding.

Would it make any difference? I'm guessing that part depends on cogeco not start?

The channel bonding is fully dependent on the incumbent, in your case that's Cogeco.

Now have four upstream paths. The downstream remains the same.

Check the power levels on my forward path in the post above. Aren't those kinda low?
