| I got the update:
I did not request it, but I did restart the modem via the config page. I happened to run a speedtest right before the reboot, and it was ~26k down, and after it is about 37k down.
I didn't see anything in the modem log that suggested anything was updated or changed, but it worked. |

I remember when Metrocast was only one way down and we had to connect by phone line for upstream. I think we were excited because we had 2 MB down.
Now we complain when our upstream is "only" 2 meg up.
I am very , very old now. LOL |

6 down would seem so slow to me I have 100 at work and 35 at home. If I ever moved Internet access would be as important as anything in deciding where to live. |
