Re: Malwarebytes 1.70 released said by Secyurityet:said by imtim83:I like the new system tray icon how about everyone else? I'm still trying to figure out what it represents. Is it a stylized "M"? What the heck is it? My vote is the stylized "M" with a pac-man taking a "byte" out of it. |

I closed the program, reopened it and the updater button is once again greyed out, unclickable. Is it possible the updater button is only available when updates are? |

 | The admin button is only grayed out when you are not running the Malwarebytes under admin account. Malwarebytes install with Admin Priv but if you run it under standard account you can't control the update process since it's an admin lvl process. SO if you want to run the update under Standard account then kill MalwareBytes and re-execute it with right click run as admin, type in your admin password and viola it works. |

But it's my favorite color. Well, one of them. It seems to be a little slower on my system than the older version. I always run MBAM under admin now after doing a scan in a LUA and having some false positives. It took awhile and some anxiety before I was able to sort that one out. Haven't had any problems running scans as an admin except after updating and losing my ignore list for the security center being turned off and needing to add them again. |

MIXZ1 join:2001-01-02 Mexico | reply to imtim83 There are some early "issues": The tools available under the More Tools tab do not work unless Internet Explorer is your default browser. From reading the MBAM forums, I guess this will be addressed in a future release. |
