Re: Problems with twitch.tv

Twitch.tv is an eSports broadcasting site... It has nothing to do with piracy... The developers of Natural-Selection 2 use it to stream content to their customers...

Don't know why either but I lag heavily when connecting to a USE server and I am perfectly fine on USW in Ontario.

Yep I have the same problem. Some US East servers have around 100-120 ping and random packet drops. Don't know why. I think it's related because it started happening the same time Twitch started lagging for me.

after switching to Start today the difference is night and day for twitch.tv performance.

OMG It has been driving me nuts all weekend, cannot get a single Dota 2 Stream to not stutter no matter what resolution yet my speed is fine.

Just when Singsing can finally stream again I cannot watch grrrr.

I am on DSL 6 meg never had a problem before

I'm having the same problem, I usually watch at 720p+ just fine, and now i'm getting lag at anything over 240. Seems like it's throttled at like 30-70Kb/s.

If i use my VPN with a west coast US exit I can watch at like 480p-720p for the most part.

Just ran Trace Route (no vpn), seems to be failing at peer1.net... Dunno if that helps

I'm also having issues with Twitch.

My overall connection speed is ok.

Other twitch users don't seem to be experiencing lag.

yea I have the same issue. it plays 2secs then seems to pause/buffer 2 secs aswell. really annoying.

I tried some basic stuff... reboot modem/router/pc. Then tried to use phone to stream with 4G works flawlessly.

The weird part is that when i tried to use the phone with wifi and turn 4G off it doesnt seem to stutter on the phone at 360p. *shruf*

(btw all other internet services work fine youtube/full download speed etc.. only fKN twitch)

Couldnt watch the GSL

Twitch is fine for me. I was able to watch Flo stream some HOTS last night. As for the GSL... Well I never watch GSL. It's in the middle of the night!

Mine has been really bad since Saturday. I am still getting the stuttering etc for both video and audio on any resolution and every twitch.tv stream that I watch.

Having the same problem actually....1080p is unwatchable because of buffering but 360p plays fine...
