Is anyone else experiencing this? I tried contacting support but of course could not get a straight answer whether the HD Locals will be in clearQAM again.

you are likely having a noise issue with the QAM carrier on 98 (111MHz) as everything else did not change. No TWC did not encrypt the clear QAM channels and they have to give a 30 day notice before doing so and have to be 100% digital and that has not happened yet. |

TWC also uses 98 (111MHz) in Dallas for HD channels as well:

Temple, TX | You were spot on in your assessment! I changed out a splitter and moved my cable box up a level (probably should have been on the top level anyway) and I am able to decode 98 again. Maybe the cable box was overloading the frontend of the HD Homerun tuner. So my setup is now....
