Columbus, OH | A lot of money given to AT&T... Seriously they are not planning any major expansion and the little they may expand is only in areas that they can guarantee a quick return on their investment. |

U-verse is DSL in areas without FTTP; either ADSL2+, or VDSL.
AT&T is not likely to expand ADSL; they are moving to ADSL2+/VDSL.
If AT&T does not already service your area, they likely will not ever with any version of DSL. They are counting on wireless coverage for such areas.
