 | internet price secrecy Suddenlink prices are listed as:
3MB $25.00 Per Month for 12 Months 15MB $50.00 Per Month for 12 Months 30MB $60.00 Per Month for 12 Months 50MB $70.00 Per Month for 12 Months
There is also a disclaimer that says the price is based on pre-existing qualifying services.
I cannot get a rep to tell me what the rate goes up to after 12 months. All they will say is that there is normally a $1 or $2 annual increase. The "for 12 Months" part makes me think it is a discounted promotional rate that could drastically increase after 12 months. Am I wrong? Can someone who has Suddenlink internet with no other services quote me the rates? I'm in Abilene, Texas. So far only 3MB is affordable and only the first 12 months at that. |

 | Suddenlink does not do promotional rates or contracts. That is the rate you'll pay until there is a price increase. |
|
 | Thank you very much. |

 | reply to benk016 I am currently on a promotional for 12 months rate. It's not a contract, but the price will go up. What it goes up to, I was quoted as whatever is listed on the lineup at the time. So for my it's 70 something |

sjk @cebridge.net | reply to benk016 Wrongo...I got a 12 month promo rate. It all depends upon the competition in your area. |
|
 | reply to John79605 I stand corrected about promo pricing. But at least on promo pricing with SL you aren't in a contract so at 12 months you can change your plan again to something else or cancel. |
|
 | Will be doing this myself shortly as I'll be paying a solid 20 bux higher per month for the same service others across town are getting from SL....... annoying |
