You DO know you can very easily make DTV skip instead...
To activate it, go to Search for Programs in your menu.
Then search by Keyword. Using your remote, search for the keyword "30SKIP" (no quotes). Your search will yield no results. Select "Continue" and then "Done".
You now have 30 sec skip!
So this makes it skip 30 seconds in one chunk instead of skipping 30 seconds while showing intermittent frames? If so, that's great and I'll make the change tonight.
