[Connectivity] Jittery Latency (Lehigh Valley)

Mulhearn1022 posted : My 50/6 connection seems to be suffering from poor latency, with some occasional packet loss. The throughput is typical good, ranging from ~20 mbps (peak hours) - ~48 mbps. These results are taken when no one else is using the network. Here's the setup:

Cable -> Modem (Cisco DPC3008) -> Wireless Router (Asus RT-N56U) -> Laptop (Wireless)

I started out using the supplied Linksys E1200 router but that router simply couldn't handle the demand placed on it, with it's latency being much worse and more jittery. So I replaced it with the Asus that I had. Now, I've also tried plugging the laptop in directly to the modem with identical results. That should eliminate the router as a variable. I have no firewalls turned on for either the router and my laptop. The problem doesn't lie in the laptop either because from the tracert's I've run, even on wireless it only takes ~1-2 ms to get out to the modem. Once past the modem though, the latency seems to be quite inconsistent. I'm wondering if the modem supplied is the problem here, because all the stats on the modem check out perfectly. Also I noticed it has a bunch of negative reviews on amazon and newegg. Here's some pics of the speed tests, ping tests, tracert, and line quality:

(Keep in mind that I'm the ONLY one on the network, once more traffic is introduced things get much worse)

»imageshack.us/a/img811/1727/tracertsj.jpg
»imageshack.us/a/img16/5307/speedtests2.jpg
»imageshack.us/a/img708/1169/speedtestsy.jpg
»imageshack.us/a/img855/4231/pingtests.jpg
»imageshack.us/a/img853/4411/line···ty12.jpg
»imageshack.us/a/img72/9634/linequality11.jpg

Encoded MAC: f47a2f148908d6224c60939934f7defea62137d6

I'd appreciate any help you guys could provide me with.

EDIT: Changed links to tests. On second thought, its appears 209.122.64.34 is overloaded, as shown in the tracerts. Also, I have reset my modem many times since I started the 50/6 plan about 3-4 weeks ago.
