<description><![CDATA[SCADAGeo posted : That was a great article. :D<br><br>Some of that was necessary during the early browser wars, where Microsoft had some <a href="http://www.justice.gov/atr/cases/f1900/1999.htm">interesting strategies</a> while trying to gain market share, such as inducing artificial delays (timeouts, password failures, etc) in Microsoft's IIS whenever a Netscape browser was used as the client.<br><br>Netscape fought back, doing the same thing with their Server, locking out/delaying Internet Explorer clients.  <br><br><a href="http://www.accessmylibrary.com/article-1G1-18643543/microsoft-camouflaged-ie-3.html">The solution was on the browser side</a>.  :p]]></description>
