Cannot change settings/navigate configuration C1000A

I can't get my modem to save any changes to configuration and I'm having problems with managing it in general. Probably every other time I click a link in router management, I get a pinkish page that says "400 Bad Request". Reloading will usually get me back to management, but when I change a setting, e.g. the wireless channel and click Apply, it either goes to the Bad Request page or it bombs back out to the router login screen and doesn't save the changes.

I've seen people with similar problems on the web and no real solutions. Anyone else experiencing this?

Try a different browser, different PC if possible. You may just have a defective unit that needs replaced.

Tried Firefox, IE and chrome and 3 different computers. Would the hardware be defective? Or could a firmware flash or rest fix this?

A firmware flash may help, if you can find it. Otherwise, try resetting to defaults. If that doesn't fix it, return it as defective.

Is it working now, other than not being able to change settings?
Do you have a separate router connected to it?
Are you in a PPPoE or DHCP area?
Is it in bridge mode?
