VOIP Tech Chat → [Voip.ms] toronto upgrade complete?

It looks like voip.ms completed their server upgrade (and move?) of their toronto pop.

I believe toronto and toronto2 used to be the same server so be
aware that you may need to change your inbound did pop on
their portal or your ATA's registered server if they are different.

If they are not the same, inbound calls will be routed to voice mail.

Question for voip.ms: which would be the best server?
(and where are they now?)

The IP addresses still resolve to the carat networks IP addresses from Hamilton and tracert goes there. Not sure if moved.

To answer your second question, try pinging the various servers and see which one has the best results for your physical location.

Pinging is a place to start and then I would suggest actually trying any server you choose for a while to see how it performs for you. Loading, number of hops to it and updates or course will have their effects on any particular server you might choose.

Agreed. Just be careful with Chicago. Still hiccuping like crazy, regardless of ping time.
