That depends on what you call HD.
1080 means HD to me, however, some local channels are only 720 or even 480 and for those, I don't consider it HD.
Those are the same they offer OTA (if you can get them) though.
BTW, I rather they had less channels, and only do 1080.
By 1080 I assume you mean 1080p. First thy cant do that on locals since locals don't do 1080p. As far as the others as well they would have to get rid of half their channel line-up to get 1080p on the rest. And since they have less channels they have less revenue which means expect your bill to double. So half the channels for twice the price for a marginal improvement in PQ at best on a 60+ inch screen.
