Bring it on! Wait, I only have half a tank. The power flickered as I was typing this, lol.

Can you throw stuff on it, drop cloths, old carpet or even the floormats of the car on top of it?

BTW this is my new go to for weather, »imapweather.com/

Crap just saw the wider radar. Looks like a train of storms coming out way.

Maybe, I don't know. The NOAA warning looks pretty ominous. I hope not. Especially the quarter size hail part. Since I can't get my car in the garage at the moment.

I thought they were saying that the storms weren't going to be bad as previously predicted.

Supposed to get nasty tonight. Though I don't really see anything on the map now.

My son was out driving with his GF. For a couple minutes all hell broke loose, and a flying branch hit the windshield and smashed the window and dented the hood. They are unharmed, but it was quite a shock for them.

Just like Jon said looks like it's going north.

Looks like we might get clipped by the edge here. Hopefully it keeps moving north and misses us.

This storm blowing across the State from the west is turning ugly. Bow-echoed and coming this way. Tornado Watch in effect.

I used to be able to bike 20 miles every other day, til Sept when I screwed up my back, not just been able to only walk. But at least 6-7 miles every other day. Hoping to get back in the saddle soon. Just feeling a bit apprehensive about it.

50 miles? Shit. I cut my grass today and want to die now.

While that may seem like a lot, it is very small when you compare it to how many miles I did last year. The pic above is from an excel file that I have where I kept track of each trip I did last year.

So far this year, I've been on the bike 3 times, and rode just under 111 miles.

I think the a/c is getting kicked on for the first time this year tommorow. My 3 1/2 month old son deals with the heat about as well as I do (not so good). Fussy baby is no bueno.

What a wonderful day! Left the house around 8:30 AM with the bike in the back of the truck. Drove down to Fox River Shores, which is just north of Otto Engineering in Carpentersville. I then headed south along the Fox River trail down to Batavia and back.

Lots of people were out today on the trail (bikers, walkers, joggers, rollerbladers) as well as on the river (boaters, water skiers, jet skiers, and kayaks).

I only went about 50 miles, but I took my time and did a lot of sitting and enjoying the day along the way. Got back to Fox River Shores around 6:30 PM.

Nope not you it's bad. I've had more dandelions this year than I've ever had.

WTF is up with the dandelions this year? Is it just me or are they really bad?

The wife refuses to run the AC till June so we're pulling out the fans here. Funny thing is I work in the basement when I telecommute so I'm in long sleeves and fleece pants while everyone is dang near naked.

Same here. Sometime I wish I can get one those fangled air exchangers. Then again prob cost about the same as just running the A/C.

Looks like I'm gonna run the AC for the first time today. Remote thermometer shows 85 right now. While it doesn't bother me now, it'll be miserable for sleeping.

So much for Mother's Day being a safe day to plant.

I got up about 3am and it was 37 so I doubt it got to freezing here. I know some places did. Everything seem to get through just fine though.
