Re: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot 2013

I squeezed my car in the garage last night so no cleaning for me. And there's nothing on the pavement here that I've seen.

I wonder if Winter in Chicago will be like this from now on?
The weather pattern throughout the U.S. is definitely out of whack.

If you like this cold weather, just wait a week. Next Mon/Tue could be even colder, with sub-zero overnight.

Total seasonal snowfall now stands at a meager 1.3 inches, only 8 percent of the 15.3 inches that normally falls by this date in the snow season.

Looks like were gonna tie the record today and break it tomorrow.

Should I sell my snow blower?

I never even dug mine out. It's still buried in the corner of my garage.

I'm thinking of taking off my snow tires (I have two sets of rims).
I know I know.
Now because I thought of that we'll get 2 inches by Wednesday.

And it just happens I got my 2 stage a nice tuneup. It ran fine last year but it's an older unit and needed some TLC.
And of course days before the mega warning about snow I got one for my dad from craigslist. It's same as mine but a smaller. Sticker says it was built in 1979. LOL. I go to see them a week later and one tire leaked air. Fail.

Wind is really starting to pick up. Temps are dropping like a stone. Looks like tomorrow's high is around 18 degrees LESS then it is right now!

Glad I'm going out to Indy on Tuesday and then Charlotte on Thursday.

Looks like by Sunday it will be warmer.

If you can get at the carb. It should have a drain screw on the bottom. Take it out and drain it into a container. Or pull the fuel line and drain the tank that way. After you drain it I'd still give it a few pulls to make sure the carb is empty.

Look at the manual and they usually have a manual draining be a screw sometimes you have to remove the screw or loosen it.
