I'm not sure if I want to bother digging out my snow blower or just shovel. From the forcast it doesn't look like it's gonna melt any time soon so I guess I finally have to do something. Ugh!

You'll need it Monday morning. 3-4 inches expected overnight.

Oh God Damn it!

I recall saying I used the snow blower all of one time last year.

I recall Skilling saying last night that the one coming overnight
through Monday is the worst of the 3 systems that hits the
Chicagoland area. I hope the crews keeps the road clean overnight or else the commute time is going to be Hell Monday.

Oh well, for now,,,I have to grab the pizza and beer and watch the
superbowl.... Had the Bears been playing, I would probably call in sick
tomorrow.

Been snowing since 10:30 pm up here in Lake County, and they're expecting it to continue until noon tomorrow. Commute's gonna be a bitch.

Yeah wasn't as bad as I thought. Thankfully all this snow fall has been dry, no heavy snow yet.

We had four or five inches. and it seemed like all the snowplow drivers were hung over from the superbowl as nothing was plowed.

I would try for the 26th against Cleveland. They think he'll return against Charlotte on the 22nd.

Tomorrow night into Thursday looks craptacular, with snow and sleet. Thursday morning commute may be rough.

Your not alone. The same thing is predicted for downstate. You get snow we get water in the basements. You get snow. we get rain, snow and ice. The farmers downstate need water as much as they do in other parts of the state,

I did hear a market report that was mixed. The sale of cattle was down and the price would increase at the grocery store. Hogs are high and chickens are stable, we won't see much difference in the stores. If cattle sells too low, local ranchers won't buy large herds to raise and sell, but they might buy a proven bull, or they might buy a steer for the family.

Yeah, now it's turned into more of an all-day-Thursday event rather than just tonight and tomorrow morning. Ugh.

Trying to make it back from Hartford tomorrow morning and was thrilled to see this. I was supposed to be flying out on Friday night, but they are expecting blizzard conditions here come Friday night.

It doesn't look to be THAT bad in Chicago. But the way O'Hare is, if someone spits on the runway it's FUBAR.

It's been really bad this year for the little we've had. Just the 1 1/2 inches we got the other day totally hosed everything around here. You'd think we lived in Florida and got a freak snow. WTF happened to everyone?

Just for fun, pull up a google map and turn on the traffic layer. Looks like a plate of spaghetti with all the yellow and red lines going all over.... What a disaster.
