[Northeast] Cablecard setup - device fully activated but only ge

broadcast channels. Channels like Discovery and HBO return an error mentioning I need to subscribe. I tried speaking to tech over chat and the person just kept repeating the need for activation.

Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Also, do I need to remove the other boxes in the network for this to work correctly?

Looks like he was right. I activated myself through the in home agent and now good to go

I can't believe the in home agent worked!
Do you remember the steps to get there?

Hah I didn't think it would work either but I was frustrated after speaking to two reps over the phone and then online - figured it was worth a shot

So all I did was click on the TV tab > top left in that screen is the "activate cablecard" option. I went through the steps for activating

I then left my system alone for 15 mins (it mentioned that it usually takes about 10 mins to activate) and it worked after that. No issues as of now
