Re: [AB] TELUS ZyXEL1432 Bridge Mode

All I've done so far is turn of the wireless function on the ZyXEL. It's not in true bridge mode. Two things with doing it this way.

1. Remote access to the router won't work because DNS on the ZyXEL is still turned on which means the port that I try to connect to the router on is actually going to the ZyXEL instead.

2. Also because DNS is still turned the default IP range on the router has changed from 192.168.1.* to 10.176.135.* which looks very strange when going through the setup but it still works.

Personally I'd rather have the ZyXEL in true bridge mode so if anybody knows how to accomplish that, please let me know.

All help is appreciated.
Mike

Is everything working still? I am trying to transition my ZyXEL into bridge mode. No luck with the stupid root password.

I can't figure out why Telus wants to be in the router business.
