Re: [Internet] New service
I agree with others here that you'll need to have a separate professional install the network inside your house. I wouldn't have frontier do it, as they'll charge outrageous fees to do even the most basic of networking tasks. They'll be installing a OTU on your house or in the garage/basement and likely a router. If they do, you can just use WiFi off the FiOS router, but if you'd rather use gigabit, you can use the FiOS router as a DHCP and DNS server and just install a third party gigabit switch and run Cat5e or Cat6 cables throughout your house. It's pretty easy to do. But for 15mbps service if you're not going to be doing lots of internal transfers between computers, WiFi should do fine if it reaches everywhere.
Congratulations on FiOS, and be sure to have faith in Frontier. They are a good company and they do care; they're just a little over their heads sometimes. They *did* inherit a gigantic tangle of a problem from Verizon. Frontier will take care of you!
