Re: Has Shaw become too Asymmetrical and is now falling behind said by rustydusty:I would definitely consider the new 50/10 from Telus, however the biggest concern I have is the Actiontec device. Like I've stated before, the device just doesn't work for me and load I put on it. Burnt out 3 of them within my 6 months with Optik. When the device goes, you no longer have internet or TV. Have yet to have a cable modem completely die on me with the 10+ years with Shaw.
Move made over to Telus so I'll see just how well they work and how good their hardware is. I was a happy Shaw customer for many, many years, but the slow upload speeds have been the deal breaker for me and so now I'll find out if Telus has faster speeds for the same cost.
