| Cogeco upgrades (some?) packages Just arrived From Cogeco:
"Your Internet service is about to fly to new heights:
Your upload speed will be increasing from 1.5 Mbps to 2 Mbps
Your data usage limit will be increasing from 80 GB to 100 GB"
(My current package is 20/1.5)
I was looking for the usual rate increase that accompanies this kind of announcement, I did not see any.

Give them a few months, and you will see the normal $2-3 per month increase.
Somebody has to pay for all these new acquisitions.
Or they just emailed you the speed increased and snail mailed you the increase. Either way a price increase is probably just down the road. |

They've figured out if they give users higher speeds, then users can hit their money-making caps that much faster. |
