[Cable] Disappointed with TekSavvy Cable Internet I have heard lot of great things about TekSavvy but my recent experience is very different and disappointing:
I had subscribed to the TekSavvy Cable Internet service as well as TekTalk in dec and the technician visit was planned for Jan 6 (Sun). I was told I will receive a call prior to the technician visit, which I never received but luckily on Sat morning around 11 am, i saw a technician's car on my driveway, he did some work and disappeared in 5 mins or so without any communication or acknowledgment about the work done. I check the cable internet service and it was not working, so I called TekSavvy and I was advised to wait until midnight, which I did. Today morning, it was still not working (i followed all the basic troubleshooting steps myself but in vain)..so i called TekSavvy again, after troubleshooting for an hr or so with tech support, i was told that another technician visit needs to be booked for next 3 days...and I will get a call to confirm the appointment...so here I am, without the internet (and the TekTalk working) after 2 days, My existing home phone was disconnected today, and my existing internet will be disconnected tomorrow.
Very sad but true...I have never had so many issues with the internet setup in the past and now I am thinking whether I made a right decision by switching to TSI...well...

I hear you ... but it is always a good decision to overlap services for a week or two when changing providers ...
