Acetone will also work, but be prepared to use a good moisturizer afterward. Acetone will dry the skin quite severely, and yes, it is still the main ingredient in most fingernail polish removers. -- Keep your eye on the ball, your shoulder to the wheel, your nose to the grindstone, and your ear to the ground.
