| [motherboard] Aus P8Z77-V Pro LAN troubles Hi All
Just built a new PC...i7 3770K, 16gig ram, GTX680, Samsung 830, WD
Black 2tb, Win7. All chipset drives have been installed and updated.
Very happy with everything...well almost everything.
I am on a 25mbps Net cable account. Shaw has a 10:1. I get
between 22mbps and 24mbps on uploads so I am quite happy with
that. I regularly get 2.2 to 2.4mbps on uploads with my other 3
PCs on this router.
But this new PC using the boards LAN connection only gives me
.22mbps. Like I mentioned my 3 other PCs on the router still give
me 2.2-2.4gbps....10 times the new PC.
Why is the new board so slow???

| What is the Router switch speed 10/100/1000
We will assume at least 100 Mbps
So what is the New PC's NIC speed/duplex set to , if it is set to Auto you should change it to 100Mbps Full Duplex. Some older routers may not work right with newer NIC and may end up at 10 Mbps after auto detect. |
