Is anyone successfully using OpenDNS with this router? For me it works for a few hours and then I get message from OpenDNS Updater that I am no longer using OpenDNS. The filters I have set in OpenDNS do not work. If I check the router, it shows the OpenDNS servers. If I reset the router OpenDNS is again functional. A few hours later the same events repeat. The router is from SamKnows. If have discussed this with OpenDNS and SamKnows and neither can help. In researching Netgear's support site, it seems the router will only function with dyndns.org. Does anyone know if this true? I am trying to get information from Netgear support. Thanks for any suggestions.
I have the same router. For dynamic, I use dyndns. For actual dns, I use the opendns. I do have to manually update my IP with Open if it changes (which rarely happens). -- ***ATMFAQ***DIFAQ***Kitchen Sink***
