In need of a new modem

My faithful TP Link 8816 recently died after 3 years of service. Obviously I'm in need of a new modem, can anyone vouch for which one of these are good?

Wired only modem/router

Wifi modem/router

And another wifi modem/router:

The last one I'm not sure what the difference is between it and the previous one, besides one extra antenna.

I'm too big on wifi myself and really only use it if it's free and open. More often than not, it's very unreliable and offers pretty crummy speeds and cuts out randomly.

If you liked your 8816 get the 8840T. It's the same modem with 4 ports instead of one. Cheap and reliable on a good line.

It should be noted the td-8616 is bridge ONLY. I point this out since OP is looking at modem-routers.

If you don't need wireless, get the Westell 6100, very nice router modem. Usually $10-15 shipped at ebay.
