2 edits | WRT610n as a WDS client ? I'll be replacing my WRT610n with an EA6500 (on it's way) as my main router.
I'm thinking of converting the WRT v1.0 as a bridge (or as a WDS client.) I want to keep the EA6500 stock firmware.
What's the best firmware I can use for the WRT? I just want to use the ethernet ports on it, not as a repeater. In other words, just want to make it as a wireless switch, if that makes any sense.
Oh, WPA/WPA2 is a must.
Thanks. |

This can be done without changing the firmware, all you need to do is change the way the wrt 1.0 connects to the ethernet and it's lan setup |
