Why not just re-orientate it so the connectors face to the side, and such that the airflow (assuming side to side) blows upwards. Should keep as much dust as possible out of it.
Why waste money on caps when over time they'll all get thrown away or lost. :-P
It would make sense to turn them 90 degrees so the connectors are on the side. -- ...brought to you by Carl's Jr.
