left4dead posted : Thanks for the confirmation dks7. My gut feeling is that the last Charter firmware messed up the SB6121 because since that point, it's been one problem after another.

I'm hoping better luck and success with the uBee Doc 3. So far, so good.

left4dead posted : I returned TWO Asus Routers (N66U + AC66U) because of this very same issue - before realizing that my SB6121 modem was not playing nice with the router(s).

Today I picked up a uBee DDM3513 modem and I'm already much happier with it than the SB6121.

Question though: ALL the lights on the front panel are green except for the "DS" which is ORANGE.

Is the DS light supposed to be orange (or blue)?

btracy posted : I can't tell you about the uBee modem but I have an SB 6120 and an RT-N65U and had the exact same issue with the router (log entries had "WAN Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly." and it would stop working).

For me this started after upgrading to the latest firmware. I contacted Asus support and after some back and forth they said it was an issue in the latest firmware and would be resolved in the future. I reverted back to the previous firmware and have not had the issue since.

sovereignty6 posted : I currently have SB6141 but the modem doesn't play well with my router (RT-AC66U), it won't reassign the WAN IP after a service outage or a power cycle. So I'm looking forward to replace SB6141 with uBee DDM3513. Can anyone share their experience with uBee modem?
