I'm guessing he has Shaw's 25Mbps up/2.5Mbps down.

He gets 22 to 24 Mbps on download, which is fine, and usually gets 2.2-2.4Mbps on uploads except for the new PC, which ends up being 0.2Mbps on uploads.

Do you have Asus' network iControl/Asus AI suite installed? If yes, try to turn off network iControl in AI suite.

I have an almost identical setup, right down to the mobo.

Reinstall the LAN driver from the ASUS web site. Test.

Plan B (which is what I did) Install an Intel CT gigabit NIC and disable the on board LAN.
