Laws of physics/finite bandwidth space issues aside, right now unlimited really is unlimited.

Under the old "unlimited" plans you had x GB of 4G speed and then were throttled at 2g speeds for the remainder of the month. Since later last year, TMo reinstated true unlimited plans where you can download all you want. Subscribers who paid less for a capped/throttled plan get data priority, but that's not the same as a cap or throttling.

There is a clause that states "Service may be slowed, suspended, terminated, or restricted for misuse, abnormal use, interference with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users, or significant roaming." However to my knowledge and for a quick search over at HowardForums I don't think anyone has been yelled at for downloading too much.
