Re: Geek question for you guys There is something up with Intel drivers lately, that fairly newest laptop of mine apparently unilaterally decided that the USB drivers didn't work after the start of the New Year. You could change the date of the computer back to 2012 and make them work again, update the clock to present time and they would fail.
The fix was to install updated drivers (from Intel) for everything else (display, wireless) which somehow made them work again. Suggest you install every Intel update available for your system and hope for the best. It seemed illogical yet it worked for me. |
