I wonder what the odds are....

that FiOS will sign up? Higher quality streaming and 3D content would be a nice addition to Netflix. One that I would certainly use.

Check it out
Frontier FIOS in Onboard , supported, which is great because we lost HBO GO, Showtime online when Verizon 'ditched' us. Of course Seattle and Boston were the first Verizon 4G LTE markets.

Verizon isn't likely to adopt Netflix's CDN because they are rolling out their Redbox streaming service in a few months. Bummer.
I'm pissed about this.

I pay my $8/mo to Netflix. I should have access to SuperHD streams just like everyone else.:(

Oh well, it just means Verizon wastes more bandwidth at the edge that could be offloaded by the caching appliances and costs them more to deliver the bits which could be reduced by peering. Their poor business decision.
