Just checked it and it seems to be working now for me using Chrome 23.

It was a known Microsoft Issue for some users which depended on which server you were on. While my account was a problem, my wife's was not.

BTW the force switch to outlook is on. Not an all at once thing but in groups. I had switched at the start to both the outlook.com interface and eMail address.

you don't need to change email address, but the old live mail interface will eventually go away.
