Hamachi opens to gibberish

Hey all, I am trying to get a vpn/proxy solution setup between my home computer and work laptop. Last night I installed Hamachi and a free proxy package from sourceforge.net to my desktop at home. I installed Hamachi to my work laptop this morning and right after the install, it comes up fine. But after about 30 seconds (whether I hit the power button or not) all the words turn to jibberish (ascii chars) (see attached).

If I close down and restart Hamachi, it still comes up with gibberish. If I uninstall and reinstall, I get the the ~30 seconds of it displaying correctly.

Any ideas what might be going on here?

Try another proxy package.
