we got it in Indiana, PA two days ago and I hate it already...

the UI use to stretch to fill a 16:9 screen... now its showing only in 4:3 on HD channels... how do we get the UI (Guide / data banners) to show up as 16:9 ?

My Motorola DCH 3416 has always done that 4:3 thing when on an HD channel (still does). I have not figured out a way to stretch it so it fills the screen. Doesn't bother me too much.

I thought iGuide was always 4:3, even on the SA's. Maybe you never had the previous iGuide and still had the older SARA or Passport software?

SARA was never streatched to 16:9 when we had that on the SciAtl / Cisco boxes... we didn't go streatched until we upgrade to the iGuide, now with this latest build it's 4:3... when it was 16:9 I could read it from across the room 20 ft away... not the text is significantly smaller

there is also so many bugs with this latest build... when I turn the TV off then back on the audio goes out and makes bloop bloop blap doop type noises if I turn the box off and back on or change the channel that noise stops... never had that before

caller ID tries to come up the box reboots like it crashed... never had that before... well never had CID before with iGuide in a cisco area....

there is odd pauses when navigating the guide now that didn't exist before

the darn "not authorized" message is STILL happening in this version despite what it says above being fixed.. just got that one over lunch... doing channel changes and bingo "not authorized" for a non-encrypted channel (local channel that I can get in QAM in the clear fine)

You mention the "not authorized message on authorized channel" issue will be fixed with the S26 update?
I found a thread from Comcast regarding information on this topic. »forums.comcast.com/t5/XfinityTV-···e#M61363

I think others who have been updated have seen the same problem. Maybe giving it a few days might work. Did you try rebooting the modem and router too?
