| Exactly how I feel. 
Going on a run and winning enough games to squeak into the playoffs isn't going to help this team in the long run.
No draft picks or good young players coming up and existing players getting older and playing poorly ,makes for a dismal few years to come.
This team needs a complete overhaul and using Kesler and the supposed Luongo trade as excuses isn't going to cut it.
1st and foremost it's time to dump AV...........he's getting so predictable that he's being out-coached in almost every game and it shows.

I would consider Pat Quinn as President however. Just need a more forward thinking GM to deal with the realities of todays NHL. Let the new GM decide on a coach as opposed to replace the coach with a noncompatible GM or we waste another three years getting that load of bullocks sorted out.

Honestly I wouldn't wish that upon the Canucks...
Burke has weird ideologies that only hurts the team. From his time as a Leafs GM he did a few things that other GM's don't do, such as a silly 10 day earlier than NHL trade freeze for xmas and the main trade deadline in april, also he would not offer sheet Phil Kessel for a 1-2-3 draft pick, instead he traded 1-1-2 picks for him.... stupid ijit...
And for those who say "but he won a cup with Anaheim".... well that team was largely assembled by the previous GM...

keep up their poor play. They just seem to look flat all the time.
If I had to point the finger at 2 groups neither would be the
goaltenders. The Defence has stunk all year and the offence went 0-36
on the powerplay until last night!

3-0 Canucks over the Blues going into the 3rd. Ends up 3-2 Canucks.
1 Blues goal goes off a guy's thigh and the other hits Tanev in the
helmet and drops in front of a Blues player.
The win moves the Canucks up about 4 spots....close race.

Watched the first period after which the Blues had two pps and outshot the 'Nucks 15-3...
Nice to see Andy MacDonald back in the lineup...Now we need TJ Oshie back....

Coastie | Cory Schneider looked sharp last night, but for how long? We ought to decide on one goaltender and go with him.
Hamhuis and Bieksa are awful. Just completely awful. Hamhuis can't shoot, and is super slow. Bieksa just stands there and doesn't do anything useful.
Alain Vigneault is stupid. 20 minutes left and you tell them to dump the puck in at the center line and surrender the puck every play? |
