How do you guys follow your posts on DSLR?Forgive me if this has already been answered.
How do you guys follow posts on DSLR? I'm sure that I'm probably not using the site to it's full potential. I rarely visit from anything but my desktop computers. So the only way I follow posts right now is by using the Firefox extension.
Is there some way to get push notifications to my phone? |

I was just thinking about this today. An SMS would be nice. I know you can do email updates, so that may work instead for you. I was hoping I could find the BBR plugin for Dolphin, but no dice. |

when you make a post, you can ask for notifications by email. You can put your sms gateway email in, but i wonder if you will get the link within 160 characters. I guess they could put a url shortener in. |

I guess they could put a url shortener in. It would be an interesting experiment for someone (like me) who has a mail server. I could, in theory, use procmail to process incoming emails from DSLR, apply a shortener like tinyurl/etc and then send as an sms to mynumber@vtext.com One of these days if I'm bored I may try that out... Or one could just use google voice and have it send to that address I suppose. |

That could certainly be one way, but I Follow a lot of posts without ever posting in them.
I've never used RSS before, but can the site send replies to an RSS feed? |

Pretty much I wander in once a day and just go the internal IM/PM notification route for any thing direct to me. |

» /postlistI browse that on my phone. I can add any thread to my watch list by clicking on the link to follow it at the bottom. I can watch new threads spawning in a particular forum by going to that forum's info and watching it. |
