Re: [TV] ***Cogeco New HD Channels***The only channel that seems to be missing in the Hamilton West area is E-HD 828.
I would also assume that not all these new channels are going to stay free and that most of them are probably on a free preview at the moment. There's no way to know as there is no info anywhere on the Cogeco site or Facebook page about these new channels.
It would be nice if Cogeco updated it's main site under the TV Banner and offer some type of NEW NEWS or NEW CHANNELS or something along these lines, so that customers have an idea of what's gong on.
Oh and for the umpteen millionth time when is Cogeco going to offer CNN HD which has been around right from the beginning of HD TV? I mean come on there must be some reason that it's not offered? Rogers and Bell have had it for years so please why can't we have CNN - HD? |

Cogeco employees will know what Cities do not get the full
lineup. The Cogeco Web Site had a Search feature from a drop
down list you could select your City & it would show you the
new HD Channels that were launched in your area,of course
it is now gone.
Here are the HD Channels I do not get.

I am really not all that excited about these new Channels as I
have TMN. Its all older movies I have already seen.
I have a feeling that only when people like myself get fed up
with the HD offerings & go over to Bell Fibe,they may just
wake up.

1.)Well for starters I would really appreciate getting all the
above HD Channels.
2.)Could you please answer the following question...
Is it your Intention to give all Cities the same HD Channels?
3.)When watching a show I would like it if the picture did not
freeze making me miss dialog.This has happened on TMN &
West Coast HD feeds.
4.)Could you send the Correct DD5.1 sound by following DD
5.1 standards. KIRO 718 HD is still only 2 Channel stereo.
At least if you can not get the proper DD 5.1 then send a
signal that will let our Receivers default to Dolby Pro Logic II
which is what OasisHD is doing now on a lot of their
programming. at least then we would get better sound having
dialog come from the Centre Speaker. |

Correct (that they won't stay free).
Cogeco has a new package listed on the website called "Hollywood Suite" that will be $6.06 a month for all 4 channels.
Not a bad price, assuming it's not a limited time promo price. |
