Was looking at founders packs for this game last night.

All of them are $19.99 and give:

- 1 elite hero of your choice (these heroes F2P players dont get unless they work for them)
- in game currency for micro transaction store
- 3 day head start when game is released
- other stuff I forget
- does NOT include access to betas

ALL of you heroes start at level 1.

You can switch between all of your heroes while out of combat.

Each hero can be customized with DOZENS of skins. There are literally 100s of skins in the game for the current 26 heroes.

The game will add new heroes as it ages.

it's like LoL meets Diablo, very cool

from what I've read this game is SWAMPED with beta apps

the demand is so high that they don't haev to give anyone betas access with early purchase

I think this game is going to be a hit

running dungeons with group will be awesome... start off with hulk... and then when you get to the boss you can switch to a support hero to help your group

THE LOOT DROPPED IS SPECIFIC TO YOUR ACTIVE HERO, and all loot is instanced to you

you can grind dungeons with your geared toon, swap to an alt toon at boss and get gear from the boss for your alt

Looks almost identical to Marvel Ultimate Alliance on the consoles. Even the the level in that video looks like a rip off.

But didn't that sort of copy the isometric play style of Diablo?

Diablo -> MUA -> Marvel Heroes

copying here is like the pot calling the kettle black

and I dont think MUA was ever an MMO or will touch the scale of this game

when I look at this game I see

Marvel meets Diablo meets LoL

free to get, free to play, MMO, 26+ heroes which each play like their own class, with MANY skins for each hero

i don't know how you can have a Marvel game without it being somewhat rehashed character wise from other games

I think they were smart not to try to match DCUO... this way the games truly are VERY different and not competing with one another

while blizzard may lack REAL innovation, their graduates are showing us innovation:

If I can play as Silver Surfer or Nova, I'm game.

to be expanded and expanded with heroes as it goes... like champions in LoL

the marvel universe has over 8000 characters

they have plenty to choose from

elite combo founders packs are $59.99 and include 4 heroes and many more skins

you won't have to buy any of them, you can grind for them like league of legends, will just tak eyou a while is all

already looking at Hulk+black panther+dead pool to rotate between

going to have my hands full leveling all of them

So I'm trying to conceptualize this... so this is going to be a MMO with hundreds of other wolverines, hulks, etc. running around the Marvel Universe world? Not sure I dig this.
