WTF is up with that? I've noticed it's getting more and more common.
In most cases, I've given them both my home and work phone numbers, yet they insist on calling my home phone during work hours.
What's the point of giving my work phone number if they never call it?

Call to get the cable fixed, tell them to BE SURE TO CALL CELL because I'm at work and I'll come meet them....no call. I have to reschedule. Get home and there's a message on the machine. Same thing with the doctor's office, every single time, even after I tell them every single time no one will pick up that phone. I honestly think people are too lazy to make another attempt. If somebody picked up, they might have to work. |

| reply to bionicRod If you want your cable fixed, don't give them your home number if you won't be there. CSR's never put your alternate number somewhere where we can see it in the field.

signed, ex-cable tech. That doesn't exactly work lol. My cable company has my home phone number because they supply my home phone number. And my internet connection for that matter. |
