[ML] About this MacI am looking at the Storage tab on About this Mac
It shows I have 1.99 gb of photos. iPhoto asks for me to select what library I want and there are none. In Finder my Pictures folder is empty. As far as I know, I have no photos at all besides what comes with OS.
Where could those 2 gigs of photos be? |

Could it be part of your cache from looking at photos online? Try clearing your cache on your browser(s) and then see if it's still there. |

Yup, I am only user
The MBA is about a month old now and I have barely used it Am waiting for bookkeeper to finish my books so I can get rid of my pc and put QUICKBOOKS on parallels Then I will have my database and books on one machine for work
All my personal stuff is on my other macs and igizmos
Can't imagine how I could get 2 gigs of pics in cache going to my order entry portals but did give it a shot with no joy...
Thanks for suggestions |

Thanks for suggestions why would you run quickbooks in parallels when they have a version for OS X already? » quickbooks.intuit.com/mac/ |

Fair question
1 I already had QB11 from when I went to Win7 on the pc I am ditching now (w7 is the closest windows has come to a 'real os' - I almost like it)
2 The last mac version of QB I had was the 04 I think and my book keeper kept sniveling it 'wasn't the same' and there were some quirks I no longer remember
3 Didn't know QB finally released a new version for mac Not going to buy another license simply to run native when I have to have windows for other tasks anyway
4 A couple of the sites I have for work as well as one utility I use daily - only work right with IE & in the case of the utility, is windows only |

You could use finder to look for .jpg or other formats.
Also, Ccleaner might take care of the crap on the MacBook. |

FYI, if your email account is IMAP you can change the default attachment setting to save on space. You can find it in mail preferences under Accounts->Advanced. Otherwise even if you delete the attachments they will redownload. If it's a POP account you will just have to delete them. |

I like to periodically run OmniDiskSweeper to see where thing are (and what can be thinned out). » www.omnigroup.com/produc ··· sweeper/ |
