Re: [ML] About this Mac
said by Liberty:why would you run quickbooks in parallels when they have a version for OS X already?
Yup, I am only user
The MBA is about a month old now and I have barely used it
Am waiting for bookkeeper to finish my books so I can get rid of my pc and put QUICKBOOKS on parallels
Then I will have my database and books on one machine for work
All my personal stuff is on my other macs and igizmos
Can't imagine how I could get 2 gigs of pics in cache going to my order entry portals but did give it a shot with no joy...
Thanks for suggestions
1 I already had QB11 from when I went to Win7 on the pc I am ditching now (w7 is the closest windows has come to a 'real os' - I almost like it)
2 The last mac version of QB I had was the 04 I think and my book keeper kept sniveling it 'wasn't the same' and there were some quirks I no longer remember
3 Didn't know QB finally released a new version for mac
Not going to buy another license simply to run native when I have to have windows for other tasks anyway
4 A couple of the sites I have for work as well as one utility I use daily - only work right with IE & in the case of the utility, is windows only
