Out of band for IE security issue

Not applicable to IE9 & 10. Fix is needed for IE6, 7, 8.

Got it for IE6 in that old OS. It did require a reboots for two XP SP3 machines. What about your IE8 in XP?
My two 64-bit W7 SP1 machines did not need reboots with their IE8.

For those that have just patched, it is suggested that the FixIt be removed post patching, assuming you had applied the FixIt, per MS13-008 quote:
However, the Fix it is no longer needed after the security update is installed, so we are recommending that you uninstall it after you have applied the update to your system.
