All joking aside, that C7 looks awesome... Cool they revived the Stingray name... but should have spelled it Sting Ray as a tribute to the C2 (2nd gen Corvette) and not Stingray which is the spelling used by the C3 (3rd gen)...
The Corvette Grand Sport was the only car to give the Cobra a run for it's money on the track in the 1960's...
Your picture shows off the best angle of the new C7 Vette, cause the rear profile screams "Hi! I look like an upgraded Camaro" which to me the Corvette shouldn't even *suggest* a familal resemblance to "lesser" Chevy products.
I think that a Corvette should stand out there like a beacon on its own, but that's just me.
Next summer I'm getting an early Lotus Esprit. They're dirt cheap and not too many around or a Volvo P1800 if I can get a rust free one. If I could I'd get an Renault R5 Turbo but they're all in the US, haven't seen street legal ones in Canada.
Thats some eye candy, if i dare say they stole some styling cues from Ferrari with the vents and lines. I like the view from a back quarter with the sill and door tapering off nicely to enhance the width at the rear wheel. Its a huge improvement in looks over the C5. Looking forward to seeing the Z51.
Yep, I walked right by the new vette early this morning when I was doing some work for a competitor at the show. Definitely droolworthy, and no, security didn't allow me to take pictures!!

There's quite a few early Volvos arround HRM and some of them are P1800s which attend our local car shows and cruise ins during the summer....
I really like the older Volvo sedans...
Here's some photos of these gems I snapped at our local car shows...
I once owned a '65 Fiat 124 Spyder two- seater and soon regretted the fact that it was a two-seater. That's why I never considered buying a Corvette. My Mustang GT is not exactly a roomy vehicle either, anyone over 5'10 in the front or 5'8 in the back would feel cramped, but it does allow me to carry 3 passengers which I do on occasion.
I believe it's a 1968 Volvo P1800. Kind of like what Simon Templar (Roger Moore) drove in the old show "The Saint"...
It's a very nice car...
I also like the Datsun (Nissan) 240Z/260Z cars of the early 1970's... A lot of hot rodders replace the Datsun I6 with a small block Chevy or Ford. Apparently the V8 is lighter and tougher then the Datsun I6...
Two of these V* Datsuns made an appearance at our local show in September 2012...
