My connection shows up as either Selbyville, DE or Aimes, Iowa. With the connection having the same IP address all the time. I'm pretty sure my house doesn't move back and forth. I get ads targeted to both places. Location change seems to kick in when my modem reboots itself (but keeps the IP address). I'm not complaining, just passing along an observation. My theory was that Iowa is the geographic center of the US, so this is the default "location" if the actual one can't be pinned down...

I think you may be on to something with Iowa being the default as Mediacom is the largest cable provider here and I think anyware they do business
