kudos:5 | SCAM: Invoice from "DNS Services, Inc," A number of my customers are getting "invoices" from an outfit known as "DNS Service, Inc." from Vancouver, WA, and they are very convincing - contain all the whois info, your DNS and MX info, all technical like, but they are nothing but solicitations for registrar business.

VERY common scam - sadly, many business' just pay whatever invoices they receive without question. Just as sad, what these slimeballs do is actually legal, as they are providing a service - just not one you asked for, and certainly not at a reasonable price. Many I've seen will maintain your domain registration "for only $99 per year"!?!
(and I thought Network Solutions price was a ripoff)
