Impulse Noise Comp. Tones?

In the last six months I noticed my gateway listing "Impulse Noise Comp. Tones" as 1, rather than 0 as had been the norm since all my line issues were straightened out, in the Settings>Diagnostic>DSL page. Rebooting the gateway doesn't matter, it always comes back.

Anything to be concerned about? Something I should have looked into further?

Everything on UVRT checks out and service is great. I can put up a bit loading graph if anyone is interested.

as long as your internet is working fine, might as well ignore it.

I shouldn't need to say this, but useful replies only.
