So Bob is "helping" our banks. Why do I not feel better?

Given that Bob is deeply in a data-sharing bed with the IRS and other Federal banking-oversight agencies, all of whom themselves currently have deep views into the banking system's computers, I must admit I (sadly) don't see much worsening of the privacy situation that already exists.
