Continuum - SyFy Mondays @ 8pm

This show is different and I like! The high-techie-ness of it is intriguing. Definitely a show worth watching. It's also the show that gets the re-run at 11 after Lost Girl incase you miss the episode at 8.

Plus, Rachel Nichols is gorgeous.

I saw it last night, thought it showed some promise. When I first heard about the show, I thought time cop, and so happy it's not that.

Not that I know of. Season 1 started last night on SyFy.

I think it came out a few months ago originally on a Canadian sci-fi channel.

Yeah, I saw about 10 episodes of the show and thought it was pretty good.
I figured it was time for season 2 to start by now. I'm going to go looking around for more info.

I’ve watched the first season on youtube but I’ll watch them again on Syfy-HD. I’m glad its finally come to the states and I’m glad I have an opportunity to support the show through traditional means.

For those of whom that have not watched it, its well worth it IMO.

Great cast, acting, writing and execution,….

Glad to hear it found it's way down to the states. I quite enjoyed it up here in Canada. I got through about half of the first season and got distracted and keep meaning to return to it. The show has it's flaws but it is unique and original enough to make it worth watching.

It ran on Showcase, a "drama" channel, Space, our "Sci Fi" channel has become a secondary market channel for shows like Arrow , and older seasons of shows like Dr Who and Merlin(damn why did they cancel it...)

No, I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake.......

Not a bad first episode. Nothing spectacular but it was solid. I'll see where it goes.

Apparently there is an 8 part graphic novel that tells the story of the war between the Corporations and Liber8.
It's called Continuum: The War Files and is available to Canadians on the Showcase site: »continuum-the-game.com/no-comics

Lucky Canadians.

This show seems to have some overt political tones to it.
Corporations being portrayed as oppressive entities AKA 1%.

I kinda hope the protector is able to find a balance between being the patsy for the corporations, and the extreme violence of libr8, ans is able to make changes in the past that benefit the people, weakening the overall power of the corporations.

I guess that is one reason why I'm "kool" to the show, because of how they portray corporations as the "big evil" in the future.

Lexa was incredibly hot during the Andromeda series, and if you want irony, she's married to Michael Shanks, another Canadian, of SG-1 infamny.

And yes us Canadians are blessed with serious hotties.

Thank you, thank you very much

I met both Michael and Lexa last weekend, both of them were really nice and seemed down to earth too.

Season finale was awesome. Interesting twists being thrown around and I'm excited to see where next season leads. Hopefully it'll have more than 10 episodes also.

Here's the new on the SyFy broadcast schedule:

Syfy announced today that science fiction cop drama Continuum will return for a second season on the network this coming summer. The Canadian-based series was already renewed up north last year, but today's news ensures the series will also continue for US audiences.

Season 2 of Continuum will premiere on Syfy on Friday, June 7, 2013 and will run for 13 episodes.
